Lauren has a degree in Marketing and has spent almost a decade living in London. She established an eight year career at market leading brands including (among others) GQ, ELLE, Sunday Times Style and Cosmopolitan. Seven months ago she quit her job at publishing giant Condé Nast to pursue her dream of being a full time blogger.

Lauren is now the proud creative behind SassyInTheCity.com and most recently LittleInTheCity.com. She has developed a unique style of writing and though photography and passion illustrates a typical London lifestyle as an expectant mother. Posts fall into the category of Expecting, Fashion or Useful.

Lauren wants readers to always feel inspired and empowered to be the best mother’s they can possibly be. As a result, she promises honesty, value and humorous content. One of Lauren’s intrinsic blogger qualities is that she is candid and opinionated. All the while remaining professional and well-connected in the industry.

The blog launched last month whereas Sassyinthecity.com is over a year and a half old. Separate to her magazine career, Lauren has partnered with a number of brands whilst blogging. This includes Philips, Hello! Fashion, Panasonic, Joules, Bicester Village, Aromatherapy Associates, SecretSales.com, Johnny Loves Rosie, Skinfix, Burts Bees, Remescar, TK Maxx and many more. Slipping seamlessly into luxury content she has also teamed up with MoëtMaison Margelia Replica and Nefera among a host of others.

Lauren is registered with ‘RewardStyle’. It’s the number one, invitation-only blogger affiliate network. In addition Lauren recently launched her very first ‘Beauty Subscription Box’ in collaboration with Roccabox. It’s on sale for £10 plus P+P. It has gained enormous coverage and has almost sold out.

Future

There are many sponsorships in the pipeline for 2017 and most exciting, the baby is coming in September. Recently married, Lauren has also put the wheels in motion for two new brand extensions coming up this Summer.

The blog’s success hinges on the support of its audience. Its fresh and modern aesthetic keeps readers interested to the point where Lauren has quickly built up a following of loyal followers both on the blog and social media (Instagram, Facebook and Twitter and Sassyinthecityblog on Instagram).
