First Impressions Of Sophie La Girafe Bubble Bath

With only half of my pregnancy remaining our little love is going to be here soon. So of course now’s the time I start thinking about baby essentials and shopping lists. The bottles, the bedding, the clothes and my favourite its bath-time needs. Throughout all the noise, thanks to my younger sister (mum to two little girls) one brand I knew I’d have to explore is Sophie La Girafe.

Many mums (and mums to be) might have already heard of Sophie La Girafe. They’re famed for baby’s first toy (see video on how to clean it here) which stimulates each of their five senses (from 3 months). What’s interesting is that this french brand grew mostly by word of mouth – it’s that great.

Bath Time

When it comes to baby bath time, aside from that insane baby smell my experience with my nieces has always been extra special. These small teeny tiny humans are so fragile to hold and their skin is super sensitive. “Watch their face! Is the temperature too hot?” There’s no denying that I want the absolute best for my baby and that includes natural products where possible.

The Sophie La Girafe bubble bath not only smells amazing but it’s been designed to cleanse baby’s skin gently. It’s organically certified and Ecocert approved and unlike many baby baths, it has a long-lasting moisturising foam to pamper the little bub. Best of all, it uses safe and organic ingredients and is suitable for sensitive skin.

  • White Tea fortifies the skin
  • Lavender Water relieves skin symptoms and prevents skin irritations
  • Cleansing and foaming ingredients of vegetable origin are obtained from, among others, Coconuts (nearly odourless)
  • Dermatologically tested and vegan

I’m super impressed with this bubble bath. Priced at £12.95 it’s going to be one of the more luxury products I get for baby (I mean I’d spend that on a bubble bath for myself). Right now it sits pride of place in a little basket for baby bath time and I can’t wait to use it for the first time.
