I Have Some News!

So I can’t keep it a secret any more. You’re probably as surprised as I am to find out that yes – I’m having a baby.

Ok so in answer to what you’re probably wondering (I love that people have actually asked me this), yes it was planned. We’re just both amazed at how quickly it happened! I’m four months in (17 weeks to be exact) and the little love is due early September. I keep getting so caught up in the panic and stress of everything that has to be done before he/she arrives but I’m gradually learning to calm down, relax and most importantly take it easy.

All To Come

In the next four/five months, Daniel and I will be getting married and moving to a new house. A process that can be an expensive nightmare particularly in London. I’ll also be learning to drive (!) and not only continuing to develop SassyInTheCity.com but also working to grow a little human inside my belly. Phew!

Naturally I couldn’t wait to set up LittleInTheCity.com. It was important for me not to alienate the readers of SassyInTheCity.com, some who may not care for loads of baby updates. So I’ve created this second blog. I want it to be a place where women can visit for honest, humorous opinion, stories and baby/maternity fashion. SassyInTheCity.com will remain (there’s so much coming up on there) and it’ll still keep its focus on clothes, beauty and lifestyle.

This is a place I can really open up and share my journey with you guys. I’m thrilled to have received such enormous support since finding out that we’re expecting and I’m super excited at what the next few months hold. I must be honest though, as Whitney Port also said – ‘I love my baby but hate my pregnancy!

I hope you love the new blog! Xx
